Flour Craft is a locally owned, artisan gluten free bakery & cafe, featuring thoughtfully made pastries, breads, and plant-based meals. We are a family owned business with two retail locations in Marin County.

We are seeking positive and creative individuals for the following positions:

Prep Cook:

Flour Craft is opening our second location in April and we are expanding our kitchen team. Join us and learn a valuable skill set in the baking industry's fastest growing sector. 

Both full and part time positions are available, including both weekday & weekend shifts. You should be available on both weekend days and early morning hours. You should be comfortable with daily production demands and working in a professional environment.

We're seeking a mature, honest individual with a strong work ethic and who shares our commitment to excellent quality & service.

Your skills:

You have professional kitchen experience is required of at least 1 year or equivalent educational experience.

You should have a positive attitude and take pride in doing quality work.

You have a CA ServSafe Certificate or Food Handlers Card (within 30 days of hiring).

You should enjoy a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You are a team player and show eagerness to learn.

You enjoy multitasking, and work cleanly and efficiently.

Previous baking experience is a big plus.

You should be able to spend a full shift on your feet.

You should be able to lift 50lbs

You should be a morning person and have a flexible schedule.

Both early mornings and weekends may be required.

Front of House Staff/ Barista:

Seeking responsible, reliable, outgoing individuals to join our Front of House Team. Both full and part time positions are available.

Your skills:

You're passionate about food, coffee, and service.

You are a people person.

You have experience in the retail and/or hospitality industry and have a strong work ethic.

Ideally, you have previous barista experience. However, we will provide additional training, regardless of experience.

You're a team player, and step in to lend a hand wherever and whenever necessary.

You have a valid CA Food Handlers Card (or will be asked to obtain one within 30 days of hiring).

Must be available a combination of weekdays and weekends, both morning and early evening hours.

Our flagship bakery is located at 702 San Anselmo Ave in charming downtown San Anselmo.

Our second retail bakery & cafe, opening April 2018, is located at 129 Miller Ave #300 in the Mill Valley Lumber Yard.

Both locations are located close to public transportation, and have ample car & bicycle parking.
