How to Support Our Community

To say last week was really hard is such a drastic understatement. In addition to closing our San Anselmo store, we were faced with the gut-wrenching burden of laying off nearly our entire staff. Our 25 person team comes from our direct Marin community, many of whom are immigrants and/or the sole providers for their families. These hardworking, honest people cannot ‘work from home’ like so many others and there are simply no other jobs for them to go out and find right now. Our entire restaurant industry has been decimated.

These are people we love like family, many of whom have been with us for several years. While we are fighting daily to find creative ways to keep our skeleton crew safe while serving the public and our doors open to serve our community, these good people cannot sustain this shutdown. How will they pay their rent, feed their families, pay for their basic needs?

To say our hearts are broken is an understatement. We are a small business and while we are doing whatever we can for them with the resources we have, we are unable to pay their full wages when our own revenue has been slashed by 90% as well. We are fighting daily to keep Flour Craft afloat and to be there on the other side of this hell. But we need your help. I’ve set up a Go Fund Me campaign for our staff.

Please give what you can to the Flour Craft Employee Fund. 100% of the profits will go directly to our employees to help get them through this.

In addition to keeping as many of our team employed as we can, and, we will match funds donated through the Go Fund Me link up to $2000.

Thank you for supporting Flour Craft!
