Cranberry Orange Relish

Honestly, guys… cranberry sauce is SO SO easy! Everyone should be making this at home instead of buying it at the store. I promise, yours will be SO much better! This is my ‘fancy’ version which will take all of 10 minutes and uses 3 ingredients. I hope this will be a staple at your holiday table for years to come. Enjoy!

Serves 4

Ingredients

12 oz bag fresh or frozen cranberries

1 1/2 cups sugar

Zest and juice from 1 orange (@1/2 cup juice)

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir until sugar dissolves, about 2 minutes. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, about 8 minutes until the cranberries burst open and the juices start to reduce. Don’t worry if the sauce looks a little loose at this stage, it will continue to set as it cools.

Note- Make this well ahead and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Serve chilled.
