New Years Recipe Roundup

Happy New Year! I don’t think I’ve EVER been so happy to welcome a fresh, new year as I am now. How about you? 2020 has been a wild ride and while I may complain about the uncertainty, business setbacks, and daily struggles, I realize that I should really be counting my blessings. My loved ones and I have our health, our jobs, and each other to laugh and cry with. I realize that this year has been filled with so much loss for so many of you. I honor each of your struggles (no matter how large or small) and I share in mourning your losses. If 2020 has taught us anything, I hope it’s that we truly are stronger together. Let us band together and use our combined strength to forge a kinder, more united path ahead in 2021. Will you join me?

One thing I think we can all agree on, is that we’re fresh out of new inspirations for meals at home. I love going to new restaurants, trying new flavors that are not my own, and taking that inspiration back to my own kitchens to experiment. There hasn’t been a lot of going out this year so I have been reading countless food blogs & magazines, and listening to podcasts, looking for new ideas to adapt and make my own. In the process, I’ve come across tons of great recipes that I now have in my regular meal rotation at home. Below are a few of my favorites, perfect for the New Year. I hope you enjoy!

Wishing you and your families every health and happiness in 2021. May this new year shine brightly for us all.
